Wheel and Suspension Spare Parts

What is a CV Joint?

Regardless of the technology, all vehicles travel on four wheels, and it is of great importance that these wheels are selected appropriately according to air and road conditions. Furthermore, they are divided into three main categories according to usage types: summer tires, winter tires, and speed tires. In cold weather and when temperatures drop below six degrees Celsius, winter or snow tires should be used. It is very important to always use original parts for these systems, which are among the auto spare parts. In this way, the main elements that provide both driving comfort and driving safety in these systems are always coil springs and shock absorbers. The CV joint, one of the auto spare part systems, is one of the most important parts located in the axle systems of vehicles, necessary for good driving comfort and silence. Axle systems transmit the rotational movements they receive to the wheels via the CV joint or head. The CV joint, one of the intermediate elements of the axle group, has a playing and moving mechanism on its uppermost layer.

What to Know About Axle Systems

It is generally used with a bearing containing balls. Depending on the vehicle's movements, as the shock absorber springs and moves up and down, or as the vehicle's tires turn left or right, this CV joint also moves in conjunction with other parts. In this way, it absorbs road vibrations and ensures that the tires move better, and it is made of very durable materials. However, it should be known that it must be replaced when worn out, depending on road conditions or years of use. Replacements are made with auto spare part systems.
